The school is committed to the development of Information Technology in Education. Each classroom is well-equipped with information technology facilities, like a computer, an LCD projector, a visualizer and so on. The school premises have a full coverage of WiFi. Information technology is also widely used in teaching and learning to promote interactive learning and enhance teaching and learning efficiency. It also makes lessons more interesting and engaging.
In response to the rapid development of science and technology, the school actively promotes STEM Education and has gradually expanded to STREAM Education. Apart from adding the element of STREAM Education and related applications to the curriculum, like Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) the school, the school received over HK$2.2 million from the Quality Education Fund and school sponsoring bodies to implement the STREAM project learning to strengthen students' connection and application of interdisciplinary knowledge and cultivate innovation, collaboration and problem-solving skills. In addition, our school arranges for students to participate in relevant courses and other learning experience activities organized by various universities, such as, The Chinese University of Hong Kong’s “50th anniversary STEM Development workshop”. The school also actively strengthens professional training for teachers and exchanges successful experiences in implementing STREAM education with many sister schools.
