Life-wide Experiential Learning Week

The Life-wide Experiential Learning Week was held for Forms 1 to 5, covering themes such as academic knowledge, arts and culture, innovative technology, career planning, financial education, civic and national education, and environmental conservation. This allowed students to broaden their knowledge base, establish correct values, expand their horizons, and promote personal career planning and holistic development both inside and outside the classroom.

Form 1 Shenzhen Art and Culture Exploration Tour
Form 1 students participated in the Shenzhen Art and Culture Exploration Tour as part of the Mainland Exchange Programme for Junior Secondary and Upper Primary Students organized by the Education Bureau. In addition, students participated in various on-campus activities, including: a talk on Plastic Pollution by Plastic Free Seas, the "Positive Campus Vibes Activity" by the Hong Kong Youth Association, and exchanges with teachers, students, and parents in the School Interflow Activity with Alice Fong Yu Alternative School from the United States.
Form 2 Shenzhen Technology Study Tour
Form 2 students participated in the one-day "Shenzhen Technology Study Tour" as part of the Education Bureau's subsidized Junior Secondary and Upper Primary School Students Exchange Programme Subsidy Scheme: "Understanding Our Motherland". In addition, students participated in various school activities, including: a civic education lesson on "Ethical Consumption and Sweat Factories", an experiential workshop on "Fair Trade and Sweat Factories" by World Vision Hong Kong, a health lecture on "Mental Health Series: Anger Management" organized by the Department of Health, and a screening of the film "My People, My Country".
Form 3 Four-day Singapore Cultural Exchange Tour
Form 3 students participated in the four-day Singapore Cultural Exchange Tour and various school activities, including: the "Positive Campus Vibes Activity" co-organized by the Hong Kong Youth Association and YOU AND ME Foundation, and life education and Careers talk by Professor Emmanuel H. L. Cheung, Clinical Assistant Professor of Practice, Critical Care Medicine Unit, School of Clinical Medicine, The University of Hong Kong.
Form 4 Dream Come True Series: Exploration Tour of Intangible Cultural Heritage and Innovative Technology in Guangzhou and Foshan (2025/26)
Form 4 students will participate in the "Dream Come True Series: Exploration Tour of Intangible Cultural Heritage and Innovative Technology in Guangzhou and Foshan (2025/26)" organized by the Education Bureau. The itinerary includes: visiting GAC Technology Museum, Guangdong Museum of Art Guangdong Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Fengjian Water Town, etc., and experiencing traditional crafts such as double-skin milk making and Nanhai rattan weaving.

Our school's girls' Volleyball Team participated in the Inter-School Volleyball Tournament (Group 1) 2025-2026 organized by the Sha Tin and Sai Kung District Secondary Schools Area Committee of the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation and won the Runner-up in the Girls' Group B.

Young Diplomats' "Chinese Diplomacy in a Changing Global Landscape": A Six-Day Joint School Study Tour in Shanghai
Our students Wang Sheng Cho Andy (F. 4C), Ma Ou and Tian Borui (F.3C) participated in the Young Diplomats' "Chinese Diplomacy in a Changing Global Landscape": A Six-Day Joint School Study Tour in Shanghai organized by the Future Diplomats Academy. Through this activity, students learned about Shanghai's urban planning and were given opportunities to interact with scholars and students at Fudan University and the Shanghai Institute for International Studies, gaining a deeper understanding of China's diplomatic development and strategies.

Our students, Lee Ka Shek from (F. 4B) and Yau Lai Kap (F. 4D), participated in the Pickleball Week for All and Inter-school Challenge and won the Second Runner-up in the senior boys' doubles.

Ħu=Hong Kong Youth Elite Dance Contest 2026
Our students, Zhi Mingxuan and Wang Chu Chu (F.5B) and Wong Yu Mei (F. 3D), participated in the Hong Kong Youth Elite Dance Contest 2026 organized by the Hong Kong Youth Dancers Association and won the Gold medal in the Chinese Dance (Junior Group) Trio Dance.

Championship in Chinese Dance (Group Dance, Secondary School Category) of the 62nd Hong Kong Schools Dance Festival
Our students won the Championship in Chinese Dance (Group Dance, Secondary School Category) of the 62nd Hong Kong Schools Dance Festival. Acting Principal Ms. Leung Wing Yee and members of the Dance Club held a celebration banquet to congratulate the students on winning the award.

Dance Club Training Camp
The school's Dance Club organized a training camp for 35 students from F. 1 to F. 5. The members performed their own dances and participated in group games, demonstrating their artistic creativity and cultivating team spirit.

iLearner Online Chinese Reading Programme
Our school participated in the online reading programme organized by iLearner. Last semester, a total of 9 students received the Outstanding Student Award, while classes 1D, 2D and 3C won the Inter-class Reading Award.

Flag-raising ceremony for National Security Education Day
Our school held a flag-raising ceremony for National Security Education Day during the morning assembly. The flag was raised by scouts, and as the majestic national anthem played, all teachers and students stood solemnly. Following this, Ms. Fung Pui Lam delivered a speech under the national flag, explaining the importance of national security to the country, Hong Kong, and its citizens, and encouraging teachers and students to fulfil their civic responsibilities and work together to safeguard national security.
Joint School Music Competition 2026
Our students Law Bo Wen (F.4C), Lee Kwan Ho (F. 5C), and Lam Kwan Wing Vanessa (F. 5D) participated in the Joint School Music Competition 2026 organized by the Hong Kong Joint School Music Association and won the Silver Award in the Brass Ensemble category.

China Secondary School Students Essay Competition (2025-2026)
Lee Kwan Ho (F. 5C), went to Shanghai to participate in the National Finals of the China Secondary School Students Essay Competition (2025-2026) organized by the Organizing Committee of the China Secondary School Students Essay Competition. He won the National First Prize and the Hengyuanxiang Literary Star Nomination Award.

The Community Chest Flag Day 2025
Our school has once again won the Championship of Outstanding Support Award and the Second Runner-up of the Highest Number of Participants Award (Secondary School Category) in the Community Chest Flag Day 2025. Acting Principal Ms. Leung Wing Yee was invited to attend the award ceremony and accepted the awards along with Vice Principal Ms Ely Lee, Shum Constance Hong Ching (F.1C) who served as a flag-selling volunteer, and her parent representative.
Hong Kong Schools Drama Festival
Our school's Chinese Drama Club participated in the Hong Kong Schools Drama Festival (2025-2026) and won the Outstanding Collaboration Award and the Outstanding Stage Effect Award, while Szeto Zi Yan (F. 4B) won the Outstanding Actor Award.
Public Science Lecture on Astrobiology
Twelve F. 4 and F. 5 physics students from our school, led by Head of Physics Mr. Chan Ho Hin and teacher Mr. Wong Yiu Ching, attended the public science lecture entitled "Astrobiology in the Backyard of the Stars" organized by The Department of Physics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The students learned about the unique environments and importance of planets and satellites, and deepened their understanding of astrobiology.

Life Education Lessons
On this day, various societies within the school organized diverse learning experiences during the Life Education lessons, including:
Yuen Chau Kok Park Exploration (Geography Society), Disney Hospitality Experience Workshop (Business Society), Visit to Kowloon Walled City Park (Chinese History and World History Society), Aerial Photography Observation and Experience (Campus Broadcasting Team), and "Mini-figures in Paintings" Art Exhibition Guided Tour (Visual Arts Society and Calligraphy Society), etc., to broaden students' horizons.

Parent Seminar: "Speaking from the Heart, Not Money"
Our school, in collaboration with the Parent-Teacher Association, organized a parent seminar titled "Speaking from the Heart, Not Money" to help parents and children master positive communication strategies and skills, and build harmonious parent-child relationships. The event also included a parent-child workshop making brocade ornaments as well as blue and white porcelain coasters workshop to promote traditional Chinese culture. Students expressed their love and gratitude to their parents by embodying the traditional KCCStars virtue of filial piety.

Ma Ou (F.3C) participated in the "Ta Kung Wen Wei - Two Sessions Youth Speak" Hong Kong Inter-School Speech Competition (Secondary School Group) organized by Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group and was awarded a commendation award.

"Prototyping" Exhibition" held at the Indra and Harry Banga Gallery of City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK)
Mr. Chan Ho Hin, Panel Chairperson of Physics Department, and Ms. Mohammad Irram Sameena, Biology teacher, led 27 students to participate in the "Prototyping" exhibition held at the City University of Hong Kong's Indra and Harry Banga Gallery. They learned about the achievements of different innovative technologies, enhanced their interdisciplinary knowledge, and reflected on the infinite possibilities of art and technology.

Investor and Financial Education Award 2025
Our school is committed to promoting financial education. This academic year, we participated in the Investor and Financial Education Award 2025 organized by the Investor and Financial Education Council, and won the Gold Award in the secondary school category for our financial activity report "NextGen Fiscal Launchpad". Acting Principal Ms. Leung Wing Yee was invited to attend the award ceremony and interviewed by Sing Tao Daily, sharing how our school enhances students' financial literacy through extended topics in Life and Society and diverse activities.

Mock Trial @ Positive Thinking Project
Twelve students from our school participated in the Mock Trial @ Positive Thinking Project organized by the Side By Side Association. The final was held in the 32nd courtroom of the High Court. Our school's defense team won the competition and won third place. Liang Fenglin (F. 4C) also won the Best Lawyer Award.

Joint School Leadership Training Camp
Our school's Head Prefects, Wong Yat Lok and Lam Kai Pong, along with the senior Prefect team captain, Lu Tin Lung, participated in the Joint School Leadership Training Camp organized by the Jockey Club Ti-I College. In addition to leadership adventure activities, students also had the opportunity to exchange ideas with students from other schools about the daily work arrangements and success stories of senior alumni teams. Our students also received the Strongest Positive Energy Award.

Our Dance Club participated in the 62nd Hong Kong Schools Dance Festival Winners Performance and Awards Ceremony organized by the Hong Kong Schools Dance Association and the championship in Chinese dance (Secondary School Category) and 5 awards of excellence.

Our school orchestra participated in the Joint School Music Competition 2026 organized by the Hong Kong Joint School Music Association and won the Silver Award in the Secondary School category.
